Starting from 1945, and throughout the economic boom, the territory of the Ambrosian diocese and its surroundings have been enriched with churches—just in Milan, more than 300 were built. During that historical period, spaces became an expression of experimentation by renowned architects.
Today, through the work of 12 Photography students within the Architecture Photography course taught by Alberto Sinigaglia, an attempt is made to investigate, through images, the well-known works of architects in the cities of Milan, Varese, and Pavia. "Incomplete Itinerary - 24 Contemporary Churches in Lombardy" outlines a route that aims to lead to a not strictly ordinary path.
